David Bremer  

 

Mr. Bremer is a mechanical engineer and a Patent Agent licensed by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. He has over 20 years experience as a mechanical engineer, including 12 years as an engineering consultant. He started Sabre Technical Services Corp. in 1993 after 11 years in the corporate sector and continues at Sabre as principal engineer. At Sabre, he has directed design and development projects for commercial, industrial and consumer products, including automated process equipment, gaming mechanisms, sports devices and metalworking equipment. Since taking and passing the Patent Registration Exam in 2002, he has written and prosecuted patent applications for educational devices, hand tools, recreational products, and various consumer and industrial products. As a professor at JMLS, he conducts the Patent Clinic courses where he teaches law students how to write patent applications. Prior to starting Sabre, he worked as a staff engineer for such diverse companies as Avondale Shipyards, Standex, NREC (subsidiary of Ingersoll-Rand), and GE Aircraft Engine Division. He has extensive experience in mechanical design and analysis, especially in the area of rotating equipment (turbines, pumps, and compressors.) He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University in Boston, 1982.
