Rick Jacobs  


Rick Jacobs is a design engineer for mechanical devices. He started his career in the Silicon Valley designing high-purity gas delivery systems for the semiconductor industry. Prior to earning his degree from Purdue University , Rick worked as a millwright for Morton Thiokol. Drawing from his years as a millwright, Rick designs projects with a real-world perspective for manufacturing and prototyping. On many projects, Rick enjoys actually fabricating the prototypes he has designed.
Rick also offers media, and document design for products needing marketing, and instructional materials. At Sabre, he has designed and developed projects for commercial, industrial and consumer products, including automated process equipment, programmable gas delivery systems, high-purity valves, motorcycle accessories, facility monitoring systems (SCADA), and pneumatic and hydraulic equipment. Rick has enjoyed working with companies such as, Lucent Technologies, Intel, AMD, HP, Florida Power, Yahoo, Air Products and Chemicals, and many others.
